Campaign Story

We are Emily and Tash, and we’ve always dreamed of starting a family together. As a same-sex couple, our journey to parenthood looks a little different—and unfortunately, it comes with significant financial barriers. In the UK, no funding support is offered for IVF until after a couple has self-funded six rounds, a requirement that feels impossible for most. Each round of reciprocal IVF costs around £11,000, and while we are doing everything we can to save, we need a little help to make our dream come true.

Reciprocal IVF is incredibly special to us—it allows one of us to carry our baby while the other provides the egg, meaning we both get to be part of the journey in a deeply connected way. However, the cost is overwhelming, and we don’t want finances to stand in the way of building our family.
